Career history and qualifications:

I have 16 years experience in Financial Services in Australia and the UK; I have worked as a mortgage broker and a financial planner. I have also explored other career options and I am now a qualified surf instructor and carpenter. I have most recently re-qualified to provide mortgage advice with a Cert IV in Mortgage Advice through Kaplan.

On the weekends you’ll find me:

On the beach or climbing a mountain in the hinterland, normally with my young son in tow. I love nature and everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Favourite inspirational quote:

Favourite Book:

I love the “Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. Again, this is about the importance of being present, as this is the only time we can effect any change. Dwelling in the past can lead to depressive thoughts, and focusing on the future can lead to anxiety and worry. If I can remain present, I can really live my life to the fullest.
